Customers who have employees in California must implement a sick policy that accrues vacation based on time worked. In TrackStar, we use the Time Tracking module to record time worked, and then use a special accrual mode to accrue Sick or other time off based on the house worked by employees.


Sick Policy Formula Setup

To setup a formula to accrue based on time worked, you can create a formula using the example shown. The values in the Options field are required to specify the Accrual Threshold and Accrual Hours.


Balance Display

Once setup, the balance display will show the accruals as they occur (on irregular dates).
